Quakers believe that by following the Inner Light, we will be led to unity. Transforming inner faith into outward action is our focus, not a rigid dogma or creed. Quaker Testimonies, the collective outward expression of inner grace and divine leading, emphasize peace, simplicity, equality, community, and integrity.
In the past Quakers wore “plain dress” as a testimony for simplicity. Today Quakers do not have a distinctive form of dress; however, we continue to express our Quaker Testimonies in actions that advocate for peace, justice, and concern for others and our environment.

“Walk cheerfully over the world, answering that of God in everyone.”
–George Fox
